Tatura.

Tatura is a township west of Shepparton with its own shops, schools and sporting clubs. Buyers choose it when they want a smaller town while keeping Shepparton within reach. The housing is a mix of established homes and newer family estates.

The median house price is $550,000, above both Shepparton and Mooroopna. Medians rose 10.0% over the year to August 2026. Only 89 houses sold in that period, so a handful of unusually high or low sales moves the median further here than it would in a bigger market.

Tatura takes the longest to sell of the four suburbs in our report, at a median of 80 days. The August sales in the report show the spread: 40 Hughes Street at $420,000, 435 Dhurringile Road at $610,000, 12 Resistant Road at $655,000 and 7 Sunningdale Boulevard at $800,000. Block size, shedding and improvements explain most of that range.
